All three people on board—Gale Alleman, Bethany Aicken, and James Welsh—were pronounced dead at the scene.
The helicopter, en route to pick up a patient, reportedly struck a guy-wire from a nearby tower, which led to the crash. A post-crash fire was reported at the scene. The Owen County coroner confirmed that there were no survivors.
The FAA and NTSB are investigating the incident. A preliminary report will be
issued within 30 days, and a final report detailing the cause of the crash may
take 12 to 24 months.
Our thoughts are with the families affected by this tragic event. We extend our deepest sympathies during this difficult time.

I spoke with the woman who owns the property. She says she was cooking dinner at the time and heard a loud noise. Her daughter then looked out the window and saw the helicopter crash into the backyard. pic.twitter.com/gFzNQB75bu
