Four Alaska Airlines flight attendants fell ill due to an unknown odor during a flight from Lihue to Seattle on September 12th, leading to a diversion to Honolulu.
The flight attendants, aged 28 to 59, experienced nausea and disturbed coordination but no passengers or pilots were affected. After safely landing, the attendants were taken to the hospital.
The cause of the odor is still unclear. The plane later flew to Seattle for inspection without passengers.
